Another Writing Guide: Just Write

It's difficult to find the time to do this.  Write.  More inspiration, motivation, that says the same thing, only differently.  And it says it well:  McSweeney's The Ultimate Guide to Writing Better Than You Normally Do.

My favorite line from the above article:

Think of your laptop as a machine like the one at the gym where you open and close your inner thighs in front of everyone, exposing both your insecurities and your genitals. Because that is what writing is all about.

 That just about nails it.
